Do Raspberry Ketone supplements really work?

Registered Dietitian Melanie Douglass explains the benefits of adding Burn Booster to your fitness routine.

Burn Booster uses all-natural plant extracts like Raspberry Ketones, Green Tea Extract, and African Mango to help you get results even faster. You’re already doing all the hardwork, so why not give your results a boost?

Adding Burn Booster to your workouts will:

  • Raise your metabolism
  • Improve insulin sensitivity
  • Release more fat from fat cells
  • Burn more fat that has been released
  • Help control your appetite

Do Raspberry Ketone supplements really work?

Dr. Oz, the proponent of many weight loss supplements, declared Raspberry Ketones “a miracle fat burner in a bottle.” He (like many others) tries to sell it as a pill that will melt your fat away without you needing to do anything else, but they always throw in the little caveat that it works best when used “as part of a healthy diet and exercise plan.” This sort of begs the question, is it the supplement or the diet and weight loss plan that actually burns off the weight?

I’m a big fan of supplements if you use them correctly. A good supplement should do just that - it should supplement your efforts; it doesn’t actually replace effort. I’ve recommended many supplements to people over the years and I always warn them that you can “eat through” them if they aren’t careful. Supplements work with specific hormonal signals in your body to enhance the effects, and if your body is sending out the wrong hormones because of your diet, then no, the supplements won’t work for you. As with most things concerning weight loss, the release of insulin will impact the effectiveness of most of these supplements and reduce your results. Conversely, when supplements like Raspberry Ketones are in the presence of norepinephrine (released during exercise) then they will be far more effective.

Studies have shown that Raspberry Ketones do in fact improve weight loss results by raising your Adiponectin levels. Adiponectin is a powerful hormone that regulates your metabolism and fat storage. Low levels are found in obese people and high levels are seen in people that have a difficult time storing fat. Several plant extracts like Raspberry Ketones, Green Tea Extract, and African Mango have been shown to raise Adiponectin levels, which is why we include all of them in Burn Booster.  Exercise has also been shown to raise Adiponectin levels along with norepinephrine. Combining Burn Booster with your workout routine will raise your levels and improve the effectiveness of your workout routine.

High adiponectin Levels:

  • Increase insulin sensitivity so you process sugar more efficiently.
  • Increase norepinephrine-induced lipolysis. Norepinephrine tells your fat cells to release stored fat. Adiponectin tells your cells to release more fat than normal.
  • Increase fat oxidation. Your body will burn more of the fat mobilized from your fat cells.

A better combination

Raspberry Ketones alone is an effective supplement but we combined other powerful all-natural ingredients to create a supplement that really drives results. Green Tea Extract is another supplement shown to promote thermogenesis (increased metabolism) and fat oxidation. When combined with Raspberry Ketones to raise your Adiponectin levels and caffeine (about as much as a cup of coffee) to raise your norepinephrine levels, they have been shown to be more effective than any of them alone.

What does all this mean?

  • You will mobilize and burn more fat during your workout and throughout the rest of your day.
  • You’ll have more energy. If you’re burning fuel more efficiently then you will have more natural energy during your workout and throughout your day.
  • Controlled appetite. The increased fuel released into your system will help keep your appetite in check.

Start off strong or fire your metabolism back up

I generally recommend adding Raspberry Ketones into your diet and exercise plan when you really want to get the scale moving again. Like I said before, supplements work best when the hormonal chemistry is right, so unless you’re in the right mindset and working hard towards your goal, they may not do much for you. Everyone has been at a point where they aren’t really taking a diet seriously. They are just half-heartedly trying and not really getting any results for weeks possibly months before finally getting serious. I see no reason to waste your money until you’re committed to supplying the best environment for any supplement to work. When you’re ready to truly get started, adding Raspberry Ketones into the mix will really jumpstart your progress, and seeing the scale move will only ratchet up your commitment and keep your progress moving.

The other time when I recommend throwing in Burn Booster is when you have been dieting for a while and your metabolism is absolutely demolished. Your body doesn’t want to lose weight and drops your metabolism significantly throughout a diet because it thinks food is scarce and it is trying to keep you alive long term. Adding Burn Booster into the mix will raise your Adiponectin levels and give your flagging metabolism a little boost to help you breakthrough any plateaus.

Nothing is so demotivating as working hard every day and not seeing the scale move. To me the real purpose of adding supplements like Burn Booster is to protect your motivation and keep you from giving up. Seeing success feeds your drive and motivation more than anything. Give your results a little boost when your progress stagnates and it will keep your focus strong.
